Valero Intern Program (VIP)
The Valero Intern Program (VIP) provides college students the opportunity to gain practical experience, skills and knowledge in the company’s daily business operations. Interns are actively involved in the company’s training and development programs and community initiatives.
  • Valero is committed to helping each intern make the most of his or her experience.
  • Interns are prepared for full-time employment upon graduation through direct involvement in important business projects and daily operations.
  • Every year, all interns across the company are invited to the Valero headquarters in San Antonio to gain exposure to other departments, network with Valero executives and peers and enjoy the local culture.

Engineering Interns
Get your hands dirty at one of Valero's top refineries this summer! Valero is accepting students majoring in chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering.
