Our employees are ambassadors of hope and service for organizations across North America, from children's charities and senior services to grassroots civic events. Volunteerism

More than 142,000 hours are donated by Valero employees annually as they volunteer for countless community projects, including student mentoring, environmental cleanup events, Habitat for Humanity, support for at-risk youth and much more.

Military Support

From military care packages to greeting cards and calling cards, Valero Energy Corporation and the Valero Energy Foundation proudly support our U.S. Armed Forces. Through its generous employees, the company delivers well-wishes each year to all deployed employees who are part of the National Guard and Reserve, as well as to deployed family members of Valero employees. Military members receive holiday greetings, e-mail updates from home and large care packages to share with fellow troops. Valero Energy is a proud recipient of the “Pro Patria” and “Above and Beyond” awards from the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), as well as an honored fundraiser for injured Marines, Wounded Warriors, the USO, the Fisher House and other military support organizations.
