In good times and in bad, Valero employees have always been synonymous with giving.

This year’s United Way efforts are a clear example of the power behind our company to spread goodwill and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors. Companywide, employees helped raise nearly $12.6 million for United Way agencies in their areas in 2009. Locally, employees here in Three Rivers raised an amazing $200,000 for the United Way of the Coastal Bend.  These dollars mean critical outreach programs will continue to help those in need, so thank you for your continued support.

For those who elected to receive one, commemorative gifts for the 2009 United Way campaign will soon be distributed.

Whether you receive a gift or not, please remember the important role that each of us plays in helping those less fortunate. Valero employees make a difference because they care. Thanks for doing your part.
