Valero Paraffinic Oils
The Valero VP paraffinic oil product line is manufactured via distillation, solvent extraction and catalytic dewaxing of a consistent crude source. A small portion of production is severely hydrotreated to produce a Group II quality lubricant base oil. The Valero VP paraffinic oils are available in a wide range of viscosities and are commonly used as lubricant base oils in automotive, railroad, marine engine oils, industrial lubricants and/or as process oils by the rubber, paper and chemical industries. A state-of-the-art in-line blending system is utilized to produce a wide-range of custom blended products meeting customer specific requirements.

Valero Aromatic Oils
The ValAro Aromatic Extracts are dark-colored, high-boiling aromatic oils suitable for use in a wide variety of process oil applications. Valaro extracts are ASTM Type 101 and 102 rubber process oils with typical total aromatics above 80%. This high level of aromatic content, low aniline point, and high flash point provides excellent performance as plasticizers and extenders in compounding rubber materials. The ValAro product line requires labeling as carcinogenic under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.
