Overview

The Hartley plant, located on 350 acres about 100 miles southeast of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, produces ethanol, distillers grains livestock feed and fuel- and feed-grade corn oil. With original startup in August 2008, the plant was acquired by Valero in April 2009. Corn is purchased from within 40-50 miles.
