Overview
The Valero Ardmore Refinery is located in Oklahoma, approximately 100 miles south of Oklahoma City and 100 miles north of Dallas. The refinery predominantly receives Permian Basin and Cushing-sourced crude oil via third-party pipelines. Refined petroleum products are transported via rail, trucks and pipeline.

United Way BBQ Showdown
In 2025, Ardmore hosted the 12th Annual Valero United Way BBQ Showdown and raised $514,858. In total, this event has raised nearly $2.5 million for the United Way of South-Central Oklahoma since 2014.
Volunteering Time
Valero volunteers from our Ardmore refinery contributed more than 12,000 employee volunteer hours in 2025.

Environmentally Responsible Operations
Since 2001, more than $400 million has been invested in environmental projects to reduce emissions and improve the environment including:
- New high efficiency, low emission steam boiler
- Combustion gas scrubbing unit that lowers particulate air emissions
- Flare gas recovery unit
- Diesel hydrotreating unit to produce ultra-low sulfur diesel
- New gasoline desulfurization unit to produce Tier III compliant gasoline.
