Our top priority is the safety and well-being our employees, their families, and our communities, and we moved quickly to help people in the aftermath of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Our dedication to the communities where we live and work was front and center as the pandemic brought devastation and hardship to many of our neighbors.
Valero and the Valero Energy Foundation committed more than $3 million to help front line organizations in the U.S. and across the globe. We have focused our support on those feeding families and homebound seniors, making sure children have educational/technology tools to keep learning, and to others providing critical services such as hospitals and first responders in our communities.
As part of the nation's critical infrastructure, Valero continued making fuel and products essential to everyday life while keeping our employees and contractors informed and implementing a number of measures from health organizations, including the CDC, to keep people safe.
Also, we shifted production at our some of our ethanol plants to make hand sanitizer, doing our part to combat the virus and alleviate the supply shortages first responders face around the country.
Experience the many ways we have responded to our surrounding communities with financial and volunteer support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We're blessed to be able to continue supporting our community partners and organizations on the front lines that help people most in need in response to the COVID-19 pandemic."
